Simla Youngs has been training footballers since Nov 2003, at the Vinay Marg Sports Complex, Near Nehru Park/Ashoka Hotel.

We have the following staff to assist you in becoming a world class footballer :

Current Players of the Men's Team : Pradeep Nandi, Manoj Chowdhary

Current Preparators of the Senior Team : Manish Kumar,Sunil Rawat, Shyam Lal, Sanjay Negi, Premlal Kujur

Elite trainng specialist : Sunil Rawat, Budhraj Rawat

Other coaches : Rakesh Kumar, Vijay, Anshuman Mehta

Coaching is done in a fun manner, with a lot of variety. There are 4 year olds to 20 year olds in our training center. The 6 age group teams in U10, U12, U13, U15, U17, U19, Senior Team are formed from the trainees. Our club believes in nurturing talent and giving them international exposure from an early age.

In July every year 4 teams take part in the www.welshsupercup.com for U10, U13, U15 and U18 categories.

Our club takes part in the AIFF conducted All India Tournaments in the U12 (Danoue Cup in July), U15 (Nike ManU U15 in Dec), U19 (JRD Tata Group U19 in Sept) age categories.

Fees : payable in Cheque/Cash to "Simla Young Football Private Limited "

Basic : 3 days a week per annum Rs 20,000 w.e.f. 15th August 2008 

Elite : 2 days a week per annum Rs 25,000

(Elite Training is offered to those who have signed up for Basic training)

1. Canvassing for discounts, time discounts, or selection in teams would mean automatic disqualification. Simla Youngs Management believes in meritocracy.

2. Management reserves the right to get the age's verified of the players, from Max Hospital in Saket. The test has to be done by x-ray using Gruelich-Pyne's criterion, costing Rs 350. Please do not take another kid for the x-ray, and get the photograph stamped with the Hospital seal.

FAQs :

Q1. Can I train the kid for 1day/1week/1month, before signing him for the whole year ?

A1. No, you may not. We are only interested in parents who can show a long term commitment to the child's development.

Q2. As I shall be posted out, visiting Delhi in holidays, can I train for less than 12 months ?

A2. Treat this as your contribution to poorer kids.

Q3. Can I get a car pool organised ?

A3. Manoj Chowdhary or Anshuman Mehta can show you a list of parents's contacts etc. Please do contact them yourselves.

Q4. When can fill the form ?

A5. Till our website's downloadable forms start working, please do come to the ground and fill the form.

Q6. Where are the toilets ?

A6. There is one toilet in the ground, across the hockey field. Some of us cross the road and go to Nehru Park for a cleaner toilet.

A7. We have a basic first aid kit with ice etc on the ground. Also,  we should have a on field Physio to help the trainees.
