HISTORY
The Welsh Cup (Welsh: Cwpan Cymru) is a knock-out football competition contested annually by teams from Wales. The Welsh Super Cup, "formerly known as the Ian Rush Tournament".

For over a quarter of a century Wales has hosted one of Europe's leading International youth football tournaments and today we see the Welsh International Super Cup operate in the Capital City of Cardiff. With magnificent stadiums, wonderful cultures and a proud city full of history and tradition there is no more fitting host for what is without doubt one of the leading worldwide youth football tournaments.

Who can play ?
Age groups U-10 through U-19 and is by invitation only. The official web site for the tournament is www.welshsupercup.com . Participating teams from America, England, Wales, Canada, Ireland etc.

In the past, players such as Michael Owen, Shay Given, Steven Gerrard, Mark Delaney, Robbie fowler, Dieter Hamann, Andriy Shevchenko, Thomas Rosidscky and many other current greats have played at this annual event and gone on to achieve great accolades in the game.

The tournament is also on television with Sky TV, Fox TV & Smash TV all sending film crews to the event.

Simla Youngs youth teams are participating in this tournament sice 2007 regularly in different age categories.
